This module presents the community benefits framework, livelihood programs, and projected investments that ensure restoration creates lasting economic opportunities for coastal communities. All data is sourced from community engagement plans and performance-based budget allocations.
Full-time and seasonal roles created across participating communities.
100 USD/ha/year guaranteed for every eligible hectare restored.
Families receiving direct income, training, or livelihood support.
Community members earning less than $73 USD per month prior to the project.
Residents who actively support mangrove restoration and protection.
Community Benefit Structure
Performance-Based Co-Benefits
$100 USD/ha/year or 40% of distributable project profits (whichever is higher) allocated annually to the local landholding communities, to be funneled to community programs.
